Eta Semiconductor has filed two patent applications for novel circuit topologies and control methods for integrated hysteretic high frequency switching mode boost power converters. The converters combine the fast response and reduced energy storing passive component size with the efficiency of much lower frequency and more conventional approaches.
The newly developed technology allows the operation of the converters at frequencies up to 100MHz with readily available CMOS process technologies. Read more...
